Testimonial from Strongman, DJ Teeslink

I took the Strongman class to try something new, to improve my functional strength, and to get out of my comfort zone.

I improved my ability to pick up and move heavy objects, but even more importantly, my confidence to actually pick up and move heavy objects … correctly and with power.

I learned to take a large cement object from the ground, throw it up on my shoulder (over and over), push/drag a heavy object up and down the parking lot, squat with a heavy sandbag and to have fun with my friends while doing it.

Lifting normal things like barbells isn’t enough. One needs the weird shaped toys like atlas stones, axle bars, logs, tires and kegs. I notice the benefits every day in my normal routine of picking things up and other tasks.

And yes… my lifts have improved quite a bit. My old max thruster was 115, it’s now 155. Before Strongman class, my atlas stone, ground to shoulder, was 95lbs, it’s now 175lbs. And I’m working on the 210!

I’ve learned so much and accomplished more then I ever thought I could… at Undisputed Strongman 101.

The class was a blast. Great people. Great instruction.
