Hey TRIBE-

You may have heard that a new world record was just set for an Abdominal Plank by a 57 year old, former Marine, named George Hood. He held a plank for five hours, 15 minutes, and 15 seconds! Unfathomable!

This outrageous feat of accomplishment got us thinking…Why not do a plank challenge with our Undisputed Athletes?

So during the month of August we will be working on planks of all types in order to work towards holding the longest plank from the elbows as possible.

The details:

$10 buy in to participate (can pay buy in up until the day of the finals- but why wait? COMMIT TODAY)

There is a sign up sheet by the ipad. Put your name on it and we will register you into the challenge.

$100 prize for the longest plank hold

The rundown– our programming for the month of August will have an underlying intention of getting stronger in and better at plank holds

Show up to class and practice in your downtime at home and at the gym.

The Finals: High Noon on August 29th- we will be testing who can hold a plank for the longest. You will be judged on your time primarily but also on your form.

The perks… get shredded abs while gaining core strength and core control and have fun doing it!

Complete as many rounds as possible in 25 mins of:
Run, 400 m
50 Dumbbell Push Press, 35/20 lbs
50 Pull-ups
50 Dumbbell Front Squats, 35/20 lbs
50 Push-ups
50 Dumbbell Walking Lunges, 35/20 lbs
50 Air Squats

One partner works at a time, run is done together.
