Weight Lifting Workshop and Wednesday
We had the incredible fortune of having a weightlifting workshop here on Monday afternoon, with the talented and generous Jeremy Rutledge of southcentralbarbell.com
We worked a lot of technique and had a great time. Two key pieces of advice I want to share with the rest of you are: PATIENCE, it takes 10,000 reps to become a master of a movement and not one less and the other is VIDEO YOURSELF. There are so many little tiny things that can make or break a lift, it is nearly impossible for even the best coaches to see them all in the blur of an Olympic lift. So I did just that today on my lunch break, and then I watched myself over and over. Now I want you to watch and tell me if you can see corrections that I need to make and mistakes in my form.
