And tomorrow’s WOD is…

For time
50% deadlift max deads
Ring Pushups

So, yes, it is a strength workout! Some of you love them and some of you don’t. Show up anyway, there is a method to the madness.

yikes! so how do you scale down ring push ups? just regular ones?

Dear Crossfit Instructors, I think it’s a great idea that you are posting the WOD’s a day early. It gives me a chance to prepare mentally & get ready to take on the day’s new challenge. If it’s a strengh WOD, I already have an idea of what weight I want to use during the day or attack my P.R.. If it’s a MetCon. I’m ready to handle & attack the task at hand. This is where my Crossfit journal comes into play, it measures my progress and takes me where I want go. I realize not everyone will feel the same way I do. But being a Spinning Instructor,(indoor cycling) I know you can’t please everyone all the time. There is a method to your maddness, & there is a balance between Strength & MetCon’s. I know I’m tracking it with my journal & measuring my progress. My hope is that fellow Crossfitters will not shy away from WOD’s that they are not as proficient in, but take them as a challenge & turn them into their strengh. This is where you realize that your starting to turn the corner and, get better, faster, stronger! Keep the WOD’s coming. 3, 2, 1 GO!

Thank you,

Mark Martinez, Crossfitter Tribe member
